I have just recently had a chance to watch this movie. It certainly supports the fear factor of the power of the dark side people may have. This is aided by the dreary, dark scenes, the violence, etc. possibly the inability to be delivered. It doesn't witness to the truth, "greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world." Of course I have no experience to speak of in this area, but willing to learn.
The part I have in question is about the letter written by Emily Rose where she says she had the choice to stay here as she was (not delivered) so that others would know there is a demonic side or to go onto heaven.??
I did some research and I could not find proof from the movie that actually said she wrote a letter. I believe this was just for the movie...someone at the point of starvation would probably not have the energy to go outside then come back in and write a 60 to 100 word paper...thats hollywood...and catholic coverup??
I recently saw this movie and in all honesty I can say that I was somewhat confused as to what was going on at any given time in the movie. I usually stay away from this kind of movie mostly because it is soooo far off the mark about what really happens to a person that is posessed or oppressed by evil spirits. I watched this one because someone went on and on about the letter and how they believed that she was trying to leave a message for the world... So that people would know that demons do exist and that they have power to destroy.
The first thing I became aware of was the fear that the Priest seemd to have. As Christians we are the ones with the power; so how could this priest not deliver her? God's word clearly gives us instructions on how to deal with these situations. He was pesenting himself as a man of God and his character seemed to be weak in faith and way to fearful of what he was dealing with.
The thing that really sends out a very deceptive lie is the letter. Or maybe that is where I really got confused. First off I dont believe that a borne again Christian can be posessed by demons. I believe that we can be tormented and oppressed but not posessed. Emily had not been delivered and was given the choice to stay here to show people that demons are real or die and go on to heaven? Who was the angel that was in the garden with her that gave her the choice? At that point if she had died not having been delivered would she have gone to heaven? Personally I dont think so. She was demon posessed and defiled because of it.
This is why I hate these kinds of movies.... They distort the real truth about God's power and His strength to deliver us. They portray Christians as weak and defeated. It also fosters an attitude of unbelief in demons because anyone that is not a Christian looks at it, and laughs thinking it is not real so they are not concerned about how it might affect them. This leaves doors open for demons to come in and take over.
There is no reason that a demon should be able to destroy a person that is truly borne again. Because of the work Jesus did on the cross they have no power to do that. They only have the power if a person gives the power over to them.

how to handle an exsorcism or what prayer should be done
to free a G women that called to be possessed by cain ?

there are many types of demons some have spikes that prick you .Ihave seen another where his top part of his body was solid while his lower part was transparent others slobber and have sharp jagged teeth with red protruding eyes.they can enter your body you may feel something moveing in your body like a snake crawling.they can make you express anger at someone create problems
i watched this movie and got scared and kidding aside i wet my pants. do these things actually happen with deliverance ministers? or is this just a hollywood hype.
I've seen in the movie objects moving, levitation faces turn into hideous things.. are these real? voices of the oppressed and possessed have a gruffy voice and or sometimes change into childlike or woman like.?
